Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta doubts Domenico Berardi will head to Inter, but confirms Real Madrid will redeem Alvaro Morata.

The promising 21-year-old had been linked to the Old Lady for months, but reports now suggest he will end up in the ranks of Nerazzurri Coach Roberto Mancini.

This is but one of the many transfer stories surrounding the Old Lady, including the near-certainty that Alvaro Morata will leave and the speculation that Paul Pogba may be sold.

“Real Madrid will activate their buy-back clause for Alvaro Morata, we're just waiting for the written offer and we'll see what happens after that,” said Marotta, as reported by Tuttomercatoweb.

"We'll evaluate what to do, but I think the chances of Morata remaining with us are very small at the moment.

“As for Pogba, we haven't received any offer, and he is a fundamental player for the present and the future of Juventus. [Mino] Raiola is an excellent agent with whom we have a great relationship, but Pogba's growth is still ongoing and he'd do well to stay with us.

"Right now we're not going to open discussions.

“With Miralem Pjanic and Dani Alves we worked ahead on the market and started building the team for next season. The Brazilian will be in Turin starting from next week.

"Does that mean Stephan Lichtsteiner will leave? The goal is to have two quality players for every role."

The Bianconeri are also being linked with Valencia's Andre Gomes and Barcelona's Javier Mascherano, as well as Sassuolo youngster Berardi.

“Those are some pretty utopian targets. Barcelona have closed things down for Mascherano, and Valencia's request for the Portuguese is pretty high.

Berardi? I've spoken with [Giorgio] Squinzi and [Giovanni] Carnevali and I don't think the player will go to Inter, he chose a very precise path of development.

He didn't refuse to come to Juve, but he decided to stay another year at Sassuolo. If the player wants to grow in an environment that suits him then it's right to wait."
