Fabio Cannavaro was in London to watch Arsenal-Crystal Palance last night with the Italian legend still looking for a new club after leaving China.

In September, Cannavaro rescinded his contract with Guangzhou FC and now hopes to get his first job as a coach in Europe.

During his recent interviews with Sky Sport Italia and El Pais, he refused to close the door to any opportunity, either in Italy, Spain or England.

“My priority is to train in Europe, I don’t close any doors,” he said.

Last night, he was at the Emirates Stadium to watch the Premier League match between Arsenal and Crystal Palace.

Cannavaro posted a picture on his Instagram stories, tagging Arsenal director Edu Gaspar and Palace’s coach Patrick Vieira.

The former France midfielder was a teammate of Cannavaro at Juventus in 2005-06.

Cannavaro is the last Italian player to have won the Ballon d’Or.

The former defender has 421 appearances in Serie A where he played for Napoli, Parma, Inter and Juventus.
