Antonio Candreva warns Italy “are not qualified yet” ahead of Friday’s clash with Sweden.

The Azzurri won their first match of the tournament on Monday night, surprising many with a 2-0 win over Belgium.

“We are not qualified yet, it’d be wrong to start making calculations now,” Candreva cautioned in a Press conference.

“We had a negative experience at the World Cup [in 2014] after winning the first game, we then played two more games which we lost.

“We had a negative experience at the World Cup [in 2014] after winning the first game, we then played two more games which we lost.

“We have to play every match as we did with Belgium, Sweden will play the game of their lives. It will be difficult, but we want to secure qualification on Friday.

"Zlatan Ibrahimovic? He's great, he has a great range of shots and he can cause problems for any team on his own.

"We have to play our own game though, thinking first and foremost of our own strengths."

CT Antonio Conte has named the Juventus defence of Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini, Andrea Barzagli and goalkeeper Gigi Buffon as Italy's starting point, and Candreva echoed those words.

"They're points of reference for us to get behind, they're used to winning. They have a lot of experience, which is important, and they always give us good advice."
