“It didn’t need a wizard to know we’d reach this stage of the season at the top, but the hard work started over the summer and carried on for all these months, so I think we deserve it,” the winger told Sky Sport Italia.

“It didn’t need a wizard to know we’d reach this stage of the season at the top, but the hard work started over the summer and carried on for all these months, so I think we deserve it,” the winger told Sky Sport Italia.
“We are in the running on three fronts and want to play all our cards to succeed.”
The Nerazzurri caught Juventus on top of the table thanks to a comeback from 2-0 down to beat Milan 4-2.
“The coach told us at half-time that we weren’t being ourselves. He said we had to wake up and call on our pride to turn things around.”
However, Inter then lost the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final 1-0 at home to Napoli.
“It’s true that Napoli defended very well and we have struggled before up against teams that clam up. We were coming off the strain of the Milan Derby and then conceded on the only counter-attack from Napoli.
“Now we have to focus on Lazio, as we’ve all seen they are a really strong team and have been in great shape for months. I am very fond of Lazio, because I have good memories of the club, but I am an opponent now.”
Inter brought in several new players during the January transfer window, including Victor Moses, Ashley Young and Christian Eriksen.
“Eriksen is world class, sees the moves before anyone else and in a different way to the others. We have signed a fantastic player.”
