Joao Cancelo, fresh from a loan spell at Inter, wants Juventus rather than accept Wolverhampton Wanderers, with Superdeporte claiming it's a done deal for €40m.

The right-back is still owned by Valencia, but impressed during his season-long loan at San Siro.

According to Mediaset Premium, Cancelo received a massive offer from newly-promoted Premier League outfit Wolves, but has decided to turn it down.

He is seemingly unimpressed with this option, despite his agent Jorge Mendes having a very strong connection with the club.

Instead, the Portugal international is pushing towards a Serie A stay with Juventus, who want to take him on loan with obligation to buy for €40m so they can spread out the cost.

It’s a similar deal to the one they struck with Bayern Munich for Douglas Costa.

In fact, Spanish site Superdeportes claim Cancelo to Juventus is "practically certain."

The Bianconeri had been targeting Matteo Darmian, but Manchester United continued to demand €20m compared to the €12m plus bonuses offer and negotiations seem to have stalled.
