Manchester City are reportedly closing in on a deal worth €35m plus Danilo for Juventus right-back Joao Cancelo.

Negotiations picked up back up yesterday, and Gazzetta dello Sport’s Nicolo Schira is now claiming City have agreed to match Juve’s demands.

Schira adds both clubs are now at the ‘last details’ and that Danilo will join up with the Bianconeri after Sunday’s Community Shield.

Manchester Evening News adds the Brazilian did not travel with the English champions for their clash with Liverpool.

As for the 25-year-old, his relationship with Old Lady supporters became strained after he refused to commit to the club and was caught slacking in training.

Fabrizio Romano, on the other hand, is more cautious as he claims City are only offering €30m plus Danilo, whereas the latter – while close to doing so – has yet to agree terms with Juve.
