The German club, according to Calciomercato.com, slapped a €40m price tag on the 26-year-old, as they fear losing both him and Timo Werner in the upcoming transfer market.

Sabitzer has contributed nine goals and seven assists in 27 Bundesliga games this term and can operate in the middle of the park or in a more attacking position.

His preferred position is on the right wing and the talented Austria international has bagged 43 goals and made 33 assists in his 181 games for Die Bullen since returning from loan at RB Salzburg in 2015.
