All of Rebic’s six goals in Serie A have come after the winter break and after the arrival of Ibrahimovic, who coincidentally has been on the pitch when the Eintracht Frankfurt loanee has found the net in the league.

Before Ibra arrived, however, he found it difficult to find his place in Milan’s attack and couldn’t seem to fire for his new side.

It will be interesting to see how the Croat gets on as the veteran looks set to miss the first few games after the forced break.

Zlatan, who hurt himself in training last week, is expected to be out for a month with a calf injury. Will Rebic be able to prove that he can cope without the Swede?
