Can Pioli convince Zlatan?

Milan coach Stefano Pioli has been confirmed until June 2022, a move that could persuade Zlatan Ibrahimovic into staying at San Siro.

Tuttosport writes that the news of Pioli’s future at Milanello has given the Rossoneri new hope in terms of keeping the 38-year-old, who has seemed destined to move after the campaign.

Zlatan arrived in January and has helped the Diavolo climb the table, eventually bringing back European nights to the historic stadium in Milan.

The Turin based newspaper has pointed at sporting director Frederic Massara’s words ahead of the match against Sassuolo and the expected sit down with the Swede after the current season.

With Pioli still in charge for 2020-21, the farewell of Ibrahimovic doesn’t seem so imminent after all.
