Igor Campedelli has expressed his optimism that Cesena will turn around their poor start to the season after a hard week of training.
The Cavallucci Marini President reflected on the team's efforts during the international break and says he recognises a new desire in the players to improve their situation.
Cesena are currently 19th and only above bottom-of-the-table Bologna on goal difference.
"The work in the Villa Silvia [Cesena's training complex] climate has been positive and will bear fruit.
"The situation at the moment is that of an ugly picture painted by a good artist. In the last week has arisen a great hunger for results and we have to take this to the field."
Campedelli is regularly taking questions on the future of Coach Marco Giampaolo [pictured], but has always maintained his support of the former Siena tactician.
"He is very careful and not big-headed. I am calm because we share the analyses of the games played so far and we can agree on where and how to improve.
"If we play every game like that [against Chievo in Week 6] it seems that we will lose few."
Adrian Mutu's old team Fiorentina visit the Dino Manuzzi at the weekend and the President took the opportunity to both praise the player and warn his teammates not to rely on him.
"He has added value, he can change games but there must be a base and the team must play well with or without him. There should be no 'Mutu will take care of it'."
