Esteban Cambiasso ignores the media speculation and insists Inter boss Rafa Benitez “is secure and confident.”
There are strong reports that the Coach will be sacked even if he does win the Club World Cup, with Walter Zenga lined up to replace him straight after the tournament.
“Is Benitez fired up? We have always felt that he is secure and confident,” said Cambiasso.

There are strong reports that the Coach will be sacked even if he does win the Club World Cup, with Walter Zenga lined up to replace him straight after the tournament.
“Is Benitez fired up? We have always felt that he is secure and confident,” said Cambiasso.
“Just as the team, he has always tried to give his best. We are confident and have belief in our abilities. We know it will be important to stay concentrated on the first game so we don't underestimate any opponent.”
The semi-final on Wednesday is against South Korean side Seongnam, who beat Al-Wahda 4-1 yesterday afternoon.
“We have the spirit and hunger to do well in this competition, raising the name of Inter even higher in the history books,” continued the midfielder.
“We rediscovered the group and hope that training all together again can make the difference.
“We're happy that we are almost all ready to play our part in the competition.”
Douglas Maicon, Diego Milito, Julio Cesar and Cristian Chivu are all hoping to recover in time for either the semi-final or the Final on December 18.
