Versatile Juventus full-back Andrea Cambiaso has been described as ‘Real Madrid’s Plan B’ if they are not able to get a deal done for Liverpool and England right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold according to Saturday’s reports in Italy.

Cambiaso committed to Juventus despite Real Madrid interest

The recent star of the Italy national team has been mentioned as one of Real Madrid’s potential options to replace the injured Spain veteran Dani Carvajal, but Carlo Ancelotti’s side are most interested in getting a deal done for Alexander-Arnold According to Saturday’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Real Madrid has reportedly sent scouts to watch Cambiaso in action for Juventus on several occasions.

Fortunately for the Bianconeri, however, Cambiaso reportedly has no intention of leaving any time soon. He recently committed his future to Juventus by signing a contract extension until the summer of 2029.

The Italy international also had interest from Champions League outfit Aston Villa, who were reportedly willing to put in an offer in the region of €35m, plus a significantly improved contract compared to the one he earns in Turin, but the player wanted to stay on with Juve.

Cambiaso is committed to Juventus and has ambitions to lead the team out as captain in the future.
