Juventus defender Andrea Cambiaso admitted that he still has areas to improve in his game and confessed that he can occasionally switch off while speaking at Juventus’s press conference ahead of Wednesday’s game against RB Leipzig in the Champions League.
Cambiaso admits Juventus weakness
The Italy international was asked how Bianconeri coach Thiago Motta has helped him since hie arrival from Bologna at the start of the summer.
Cambiaso said that the boss is helping him to improve on a daily basis, but admitted that there is still work to do, despite establishing himself as a first-team regular at the Allianz Stadium.
“I have learned a lot from the coach, I’m honest. He is really important to me and will continue to be so. I have lots of things to improve, sometimes I switch off mentally a little bit, it’s not easy,” Cambiaso said, reported via TMW.
Cambiaso went on to give his pre-match assessment of Wednesday’s Champions League opponents, RB Leipzig.
“They are a great team and have great players who run, who are hungry. They are very complete in basically every department. They play well as a team, we are all sure that it will be a good match.”
On what Juventus need to do to stop the opposition, he added: “We have to try and keep the ball for as much as possible. They have great legs, we want to be able to counter that by keeping the ball.”
