Francesco Camarda became the youngest Italian to ever feature in the Champions League on Tuesday evening, emerging off the bench at 16 years of age as the Rossoneri secured a 3-1 victory over Club Brugge in San Siro.

The teenager came so close to becoming the youngest goalscorer in Champions League history, flicking in a header like a seasoned professional, but his effort was later ruled out for offside after a VAR check.

Had that goal gone in, he would have become the youngest player to ever score in the Champions League by a margin of over five months.

Still, Camrda came away with a new Italy and Milan record, by becoming the youngest ever Italian to feature in either the Champions League or European Cup.

Here are the 10 youngest Italy players to ever feature in the competition.
