Napoli coach Francesco Calzona has confirmed his squad for tonight’s Serie A clash with Torino, leaving out two injured talents.

The Partenopei have started to experience an upswing in form under the Slovakia coach in recent weeks, thrashing Sassuolo 6-1 away before edging out a key 2-1 win over Juventus at home, a result that provided a boost in confidence to the squad after their chaotic campaign so far.

Napoli held Barcelona to a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie last month and will travel to the Catalan capital next week to fight for a spot in the quarter-finals. They need to reach the semi-finals to overtake Juventus in the fight for the last Club World Cup spot.

As confirmed today, Calzona has now called up his 22-man Napoli squad for their upcoming Serie A clash with Torino, leaving out the injured Cyril Ngonge and Jens Cajuste. Amir Rrahmani has joined the squad, having recovered after being forced off in the win over Juventus.

The Partenopei suffered a painful 3-0 loss to Torino under previous coach Walter Mazzarri back in January, so they’ll be keen for revenge in Campania this evening.
