Boca Juniors striker Jonathan Calleri is reportedly set for Atletico Mineiro, rather than Bologna.

The forward had been expected to join the Rossoblu on a six-month loan, before moving to Inter this summer.

However, the deal has hit a number of snags to do with third-party ownership, with the player’s father insisting the deal was done, and Bologna claiming that Calleri wouldn’t arrive.

Today Tyc Sports is reporting that the 22-year-old left Boca training this morning to speak with Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro.

It’s not clear at this juncture whether the Nerazzurri will still have the option to sign Calleri in the summer, just weeks after the player himself suggested a deal was practically complete.
