Jose Callejon will not renew his contract with Napoli, as there are reports he will return to Spain for Sevilla, Real Betis, Villarreal or Espanyol.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, both club and player have decided the time has come to part ways when his deal expires this summer.

The 33-year-old has been at the Stadio San Paolo since his €9.5m move from Real Madrid in 2013.

Callejon wants a return to Spain in order to conclude his career in La Liga.

Sevilla and his former club Espanyol are currently the favourites, having played for the latter from 2008-11.

However, other contenders include Real Betis and Villarreal.

So far this season, Callejon has scored two goals and provided nine assists in 32 competitive games for the Partenopei.
