Inter crushed Serie B side Crotone 6-0 in today’s pre-season friendly, with Hakan Calhanoglu contributing one goal and three assists.

Uruguayan youth team striker Martin Satriano was again on target with a towering header on a Calhanoglu corner, leaping between Stefan de Vrij and Milan Skriniar.

Federico Dimarco made it 2-0 on a wonderful Calhanoglu through ball, making the most of Festa’s error to beat the goalkeeper at the near post.

Former Milan midfielder Calhanoglu took matters into his own hands for the third goal, going on the counter from a Crotone corner and curling right-footed into the far bottom corner from just inside the area.

Andrea Pinamonti’s strike thumped the upright and he did the same again after the restart, but this time the ricochet was kind to him. It was the third assist of the game for Calhanoglu.

Stefano Sensi and Marcelo Brozovic drilled in, while Romelu Lukaku went close three times, but failed to get the ball in the net, twice due to good saves, but it was an impressive victory over a Crotone side who were in Serie A last season.
