Hakan Calhanoglu reveals it was some sage advice from injured teammate Romelu Lukaku on Marc-Andre Ter Stegen’s ‘weak spot’ that allowed him to give Inter victory against Barcelona.

The Turkey international scored the only goal of the game at San Siro last night in a contentious Champions League encounter.

Speaking to the media, with Andre Onana by his side, Calhanoglu revealed it was Lukaku who had given him the crucial tip on how to surprise Ter Stegen.

“I spoke to Andre and Rome before the game, Rome came to me and told me to shoot on the right side, as that is Ter Stegen’s weak point. It was a good shot, but the three points are what really matter.”

Inter are now second in the Champions League group on six points, with Barcelona on three, while runaway leaders Bayern Munich have nine points.
