Turkey attacker Hakan Calhanoglu has confirmed he’s joining Inter on a three-year deal. ‘Tomorrow I will sign the contract’.

The 27-year-old attacking midfielder leaves Milan after 2020-21, as his contract with the Rossoneri expires this month.

Calhanoglu has been able to negotiate with other clubs since January but his future has been uncertain and the attacking midfielder had until June 30 to decide if he wanted to renew with Milan.

The Rossoneri had offered a new contract worth €4m a season, but Inter have since proposed a three-year deal until June 2024 worth €5m plus €1m in bonuses per season.

He will undergo his medical with Inter tomorrow.

Calhanoglu confirmed he’s moving to the Nerazzurri when he spoke to TRT Spor: “I reached an agreement with the Nerazzurri, I’m going there.

“Tomorrow I will sign the contract with Inter for three years with an option for a fourth year.”

Calhanoglu joined Milan from Bayer Leverkusen in a €23m move in 2017.

He scored 32 goals and delivered 48 assists in 172 games with the Rossoneri.

The 27-year-old ends his time in the black and red half of Milan with no trophies won and is the second player to join Inter after Alex Cordaz who also signed with the Nerazzurri as a free agent.
