Hakan Calhanoglu watched Milan’s win over Celtic from his sofa last night while continuing treatment to recover from an ankle injury.

The Turkey international picked up the injury on the eve of Milan’s Europa League clash against Celtic and is expected to remain out of action for at least ten days.

According to Calciomercato.com Calhanoglu will have a trial training tomorrow to see how he feels and if he can be included in the Rossoneri squad for Monday's Serie A match against Roma. The club, however, don't want to force him onto the pitch and Calhanoglu will only return to action if 100 per cent fit.

The former Bayer Leverkusen star watched his teammate’s win over Celtic last night posting a picture on his Instagram stories.

As you can see in the picture below, Calhanoglu was watching the game on tv with ice on his injured ankle where he also places a bandage which keeps the lower part of his leg motionless.
