Caldara: Thank you, Atalanta

Mattia Caldara has publicly thanked Atalanta for their ‘support and patience’ as he prepares to leave his boyhood club for Juventus.

Caldara will finally become a Juve player this summer, 18 months after he was transferred to the Bianconeri in a deal rising to €25m and loaned back to Atalanta, helping the Orobici qualify for the Europa League and earning Italy Under-21 recognition in the process.

“October 2, 2016. It all started that day, an unforgettable match that changed my life and our season,” wrote on Instagram.
