Mattia Caldara revealed Venezia coach Paolo Zanetti convinced him and said he has arrived at the newly promoted side to ‘show what kind of player I am’.
The ArancioNeroVerdi announced the arrival of Caldara on loan with an option to buy from Milan two days ago and the former Atalanta and Juventus defender looks forward to start.
“Surely, when I heard from the coach and Venezia, there was an immediate unity of purpose,” Caldara said at a press conference.
“I will try to take advantage of all the opportunities to help the team and show what kind of player I am.”
“I had many offers, but I felt something different from the very first talks with coach Zanetti and the management of Venezia, and I decided to choose Venezia.
“I’m fine, I trained with Milan during the pre-season and I’m fine, I’m here to give my best. I have already trained twice with my new teammates and I’m understanding the coach’s game very well.”
