“My dream is to end my career with a an important team like Napoli, and a return in January would be a great honour,” the striker, who scored his team's winner against Bologna last night, told Radio Crc.

“I have a special affection for Naples, and the club are in a good period, at the top of the championship in Serie A for the first time in several years.

“I seriously think that Napoli can get into the top three because they have an important unity and complete squad. Compared to previous years, this year's Napoli has a wider range and better quality in the alternatives.”

Calaio also commented on the current situation at Siena, who have now wiped out their Calcioscommesse scandal deduction.

“We started with a handicap of -6 points for match-fixing charges, undeservedly. We never thought of being able to cancel out the penalty after five games.

“Serse Cosmi has been important. To retrieve many points you need more motivation and he has given us that, and we have accredited the heart of the team to the coach.”

“Yesterday's win against Bologna was important as we needed to prove our victory over Inter was not a fluke. They ran over us at times and we needed to suffer to get the three points.”
