The deadline for naming the final 26-man squad that will take part in Euro 2020 is June 1, but Mancini’s choices are already making fans discuss.
Davide Calabria is one of those players fans would have wanted to see in the team. Many fans, not just Milan’s commented on the FIGC Twitter post that announced the provisional squad, highlighting the omission of the 24-year-old.
His teammate Alessio Romagnoli has also been excluded, with Lazio centre-back Francesco Acerbi who got a spot on the team instead.
Some fans also highlighted Federico Bernardeschi doesn’t deserve to be part of the team given his lack of playing time with Juventus.
The former Fiorentina man played barely 1400 minutes this season: 38 appearances, 13 as a starter, managinig three assists.
However, Mancini has always relied on the Carrara-born winger who played 16 games under the former Manchester City and Inter boss.
What’s your take on Mancini’s picks? Who do you think Mancini will drop?
