Davide Calabria is going to be a free agent from June 30, but might reunite with his former Milan coach Stefano Pioli at Fiorentina.
The 28-year-old spent his entire career with the Rossoneri, coming up through the youth academy to wear the captain’s armband.
However, he was pushed out in January following a blazing row on the field in full view of everyone with coach Sergio Conceicao.
The pair had to be separated by other players, leading somewhat inevitably to a six-month loan at Bologna.
Calabria has odd success story

Curiously, it means Calabria is the only man in Italy to win two trophies in 2024-25, as he was in the Milan squad that took the Supercoppa Italiana, then the Bologna team that won the Coppa Italia.
His contract is running down and Bologna do not seem intent on offering him a new deal, so the Italy international is a free agent.

According to Tuttomercatoweb and Il Resto del Carlino newspaper, Fiorentina are ready to welcome Calabria, especially as it would mean a reunion with his former Milan coach Pioli.
Atalanta, Roma and Galatasaray were also linked with a potential move for the defender, but he is leaning towards the Viola.
