Turkish referee Cuneyt Cakir will officiate Roma’s Champions League last-16 second leg against Porto on Wednesday.

Cakir oversaw Italy’s 1-0 win against USA and Roma’s 2-1 victory over CSKA Moscow earlier in the season.

However, the 42-year-old was in charge for Juventus’ 3-0 defeat to Real Madrid in the quarter-finals last season and Inter’s 1-0 loss at Tottenham Hotspur on November 28.

He will be assisted at Estadio Dragao by Bahattin Duran and Tarik Ongun, with Halis Ozkahya the fourth official and Polish pair Szymon Marciniak and Pawel Gil in charge of VAR.
