UEFA have assigned Cakir to the big match at the Stadio San Paolo next week.
The 40-year-old has a history of flashing red cards, including a dismissal for Manchester United player Nani against Real Madrid in the controversial Champions League clash in March 2013.
He also officiated the 2015 Champions League Final between Juventus and Barcelona.
