Italy striker Andrea Belotti emerged as a target for Juventus in recent days, but Torino President Urbano Cairo refuses to sell to the Bianconeri.

Tuttosport reports the Old Lady have looked at Belotti as a possible reinforcement in recent days and Torino could risk losing their captain on a free transfer next summer.

Roma are currently pushing to reach an agreement with Torino and have reportedly made two bids for the 27-year-old, who scored 13 times in 35 Serie A games this term.

Belotti is currently preparing for the opening game against Turkey in the European Championship on June 11 and the rumours of a move to Juventus was immediately blocked by Cairo.

“It sounds impossible to me,” the Toro patron told Tuttosport. “Even just the idea.”
