Speaking at the tactician’s official presentation, the Granata patron confirmed that the policy of focusing on youth will continue.

“Why Mihajlovic?” Cairo considered.
“Because he’s good at working with youngsters. We started a youth policy many years ago, so it’s important for us to have a Coach with these characteristics.
“Secondly there’s his personality, and finally Sinisa has great ambition, which is very important for us, thanks to our path of continuous growth.
“I’d like to continue with our youth policy, which has brought some good results. Mihajlovic is the best man to do that, along with his character and his ambition.”
Cairo was also asked about the objectives for next season, as well as Toro’s aims on the transfer market.
“For now I’d prefer not to speak, I don’t want to go public with our objectives. We chose Mihajlovic because he hold him in high regard, we’ll decide on buying and selling together.
“At the moment I’m superstitious, so I won’t say what our objectives are. We want to do well, the only imperative is for everyone to get their head down and work.”
