A certain group of Torino fans have urged him to sack Ventura at the end of the season, but at the same time is tipped to take over as Italy Coach.
“He has been with us for a very long time and did well with important results, so it’s only right he is appreciated, but he has a long contract with us and I am holding on tight.
“Every time I say that Ventura is absolutely confirmed in his job, then more names come out in the papers. It’s completely uncalled for. We only recently renewed the contract and are keeping our Coach.”
