After a superb start to the season under Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, Torino have fallen away largely as a consequence of poor results away from home.
"We started excellently and expectations were good, but then unfortunately we threw some points away and this penalised us, the President told Radio Rai.
"We are very young and there may be times when we stumble, we’re sowing good seeds for the future.
"We’re including youngsters like Kevin Bonifazi and we will have players like the Brazilian Lyanco who have a great future ahead.
"We will also have [Vanja] Milinkovic-Savic, a Serbian [Gianluigi] Donnarumma. We’re making great purchases, we are happy.
"Belotti? The €100m clause seemed stratospheric, but now it seems low. For him and for us it is better if the rooster remains with us, he seems to be happy and willing to stay. He will talk with us directly.
"For him it’s been a wonderful season, it would be great for him to prove himself and go to the World Cup with a great fanfare, but we'll see.
"Everything also depends on Belotti, he could say no to a farewell and our relationship with him is wonderful, but then if they offer €100m from abroad he could leave.
"I think we can continue a bit longer together. I would give our Toro a score of seven or eight, we have scored a lot and I think this is our strongest attack of all time."
