Forward Felipe Caicedo said Lazio ‘can’t look for excuses’ after the 4-1 defeat to Atalanta and vowed to be ‘ready’ for Inter this weekend.
Caicedo scored the Biancocelesti goal in the loss to top four rivals Atalanta on Wednesday and the Ecuador international said ‘a few situations went against’ the Aquile.
However, the 32-year-old didn’t want to look for any excuses and claimed Lazio ‘need to be more clinical’ going forward.

However, the 32-year-old didn’t want to look for any excuses and claimed Lazio ‘need to be more clinical’ going forward.
“There were a few situations that went against us, including some questionable decisions by the referee,” Caicedo told Lazio Style Channel.
“But a great team like ours, however, can’t look for excuses. We should have made the most out of our opportunities, we need to be more clinical.
“Atalanta play with intensity but the result is lying.”
“Now, let’s focus on Sunday, when we face Inter,” the forward added. “It will be difficult, especially without the fans, but we’ll be ready."
