New Sampdoria Coach Walter Zenga has reportedly chosen former Blucerchiati boss Gigi Cagni for his staff.
President Massimo Ferrero practically confirmed Zenga will take over from Sinisa Mihajlovic and the former goalkeeper flew in to Italy this week.

His assistant manager will be Cagni, who worked as a Coach at Samp from 2000 to 2002.
Zenga and Cagni know each other very well, as they were teammates at Sambenedettese.
