Cagliari reacted with a wild X post to an unprecedented 4-3 win over Frosinone that saw the Sardinians score four goals in the last 26 minutes.
The Sardinians have finally won their first Serie A match this term but nobody would predict their victory at minute 71 when Claudio Ranieri’s men were 3-0 down at home against Frosinone.
As reported by Opta, Cagliari became the first Serie A team to win a league game despite being three goals down at minute 70.
Goals from Gaetano Oristanio, Antoine Makoumbou and a Leonardo Pavoletti brace allowed the Rossoblu to secure all three points on Sunday. Oristanio and Pavoletti had been introduced as substitutes in the second half.
Pavoletti scored the equaliser at minute 94 and the winner at minute 96 and his second goal sent everyone wild in Cagliari, including the club’s X admin who posted this right after seeing Pavoletti score his second.
