Cagliari may have strengthened their position to keep Radja Nainggolan after confirming former Roma tactician Eusebio Di Francesco as their new head coach.

Tuttomercatoweb claims Nainggolan played a role in getting Di Francesco to the Sardegna Arena and the former Giallorossi pair could in theory continue working together at Cagliari next season.

Nainggolan’s loan deal expires this summer and Inter have the final say, as the Belgian has two years left on his contract in Milan.
