Former Cagliari player and current director Andrea Cossu is in hospital with multiple fractures following a car crash.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the 40-year-old’s vehicle was involved in an accident on the 554 Statale road in Selargius, Sardinia.
It’s reported Cossu was rushed to hospital with multiple fractures and head trauma.
The only news so far is that he is in serious condition.
Cossu retired in August 2018, having also played for Olbia, Hellas Verona, Lumezzane and Torres.
