Filippo Inzaghi is again battling for his Milan future against Cagliari on Saturday, according to reports today.

The Diavolo Coach has been tipped for the sack several times this season, but has repeatedly been given a stay of execution by the Rossoneri hierarchy.

However, today Mediaset claims that, with an international break following Saturday’s game, a failure to beat Zdenek Zeman’s men really would spell the end for Inzaghi.

However, today Mediaset claims that, with an international break following Saturday’s game, a failure to beat Zdenek Zeman’s men really would spell the end for Inzaghi.

The media outlet, controlled by Milan President Silvio Berlusconi, reports that while the club are not keen on sacking Super Pippo with only Cristian Brocchi and Mauro Tassotti available to take over, a bad result would be seen as the final straw.

Meanwhile, it’s rumoured that the Rossoneri are already moving to secure a Coach for next season, with Sampdoria’s Sinisa Mihajlovic top of the list.

Leggo claims that a meeting will take place between the Coach and Samp President Massimo Ferrero on Monday, and while the patron is willing to invest in the squad, the Serbian may make it clear he wants to join Milan.
