Cagliari are closing in on the loan signing of Juventus attacking midfielder Marko Pjaca, on loan with option to buy for a total €13.5m.

Sky Sport Italia now state the terms of the agreement are €1.5m for the loan spell plus an option to buy for a further €12m.

The Croatian has struggled for playing time in Turin since suffering two severe knee injuries in 2017 and 2019.

He joined Juve in 2016 for €23m from Dinamo Zagreb, but his Bianconeri career has been dominated by injury problems.

There were loan spells at Schalke 04 and Fiorentina, with precious little playing time, and Pjaca made just one 15-minute appearance in the Coppa Italia this season for The Old Lady.

Tuttomercatoweb state that a loan agreement between the two clubs is close, and Cagliari will be afforded an option to buy if the Croat impresses in Sardinia.

Pjaca scored only once for Juve, in the Round of 16 Champions League clash against Porto during his first season at the club in 2016-17.
