Cagliari director of sport Marcello Carli puts an €80m price-tag on Nahitan Nandez and assures they'd take "even a 10 per cent chance" of buying Radja Nainggolan from Inter.

Nandez has played an instrumental part in elevating the Sardinian side up the table, where they reached as high as fourth a few weeks ago.

“We knew well that this was the right year to rebuild, and we for this reason have no intention of giving up in January," said Carli in his press conference.

Nandez has played an instrumental part in elevating the Sardinian side up the table, where they reached as high as fourth a few weeks ago.

“We knew well that this was the right year to rebuild, and we for this reason have no intention of giving up in January," said Carli in his press conference.

“We are very calm on Nandez, he is training great and with the Cagliari shirt he will produce great performances in the second half of the season.

“He will stay with us, unless someone offers €80m for him, then I don’t know."

Another pivotal cog in the Rossoblu machine is Nainggolan, who has rediscovered his form on loan from Inter.

“He has an important transfer valuation and he’s demonstrating it on the pitch. It’s clear that if you ask me if I want to see him at Cagliari I will respond that I’ll swim to Milan and back if need be. But to say to the people that he will play here would be unfair.

“It wouldn’t be a serious way of doing things. It is not a simple thing, but if there were even a 10% chance, we would take it.

“Today it’s a difficult dream to achieve.”

There have been reports Inter could propose Nainggolan as part of an exchange deal with Uruguay international Nandez.
