Cagliari director Stefano Capozucca admits there are ‘big problems to resolve’ if Radja Nainggolan is to make his move from Inter permanent.

The midfielder has had two loan spells in Sardinia over the last two seasons, one for the full campaign, then for six months.

The Belgium international has made it clear he wants to remain at the Sardegna Arena on a permanent basis.

However, the two clubs have failed to agree a deal and seem a long way off resolving the issue.

“There’s a long way to go, there are big problems to resolve,” Cagliari director Capozucca told Cagliarinews24.com.

“Inter’s difficulties are already well known, while at the same time we have our issues to deal with too. It won’t be easy to resolve the situation.”

It has been reported that Nahitan Nandez could go to San Siro as part of an exchange with Nainggolan.

“The truth is that in this moment there are no concrete offers, but relations between us and Inter are good.

“We are in constant contact and we can start any kind of negotiations with Inter.”
