Cagliari have agreed terms with Roma to sign striker Gregoire Defrel for €12m, with Diego Farias heading to Lecce instead.
The 28-year-old forward was purchased from Sassuolo in 2017 for a total €20m, but sent out on loan to Sampdoria in 2018-19.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Cagliari have worked out a €12m deal with Roma and they are just waiting for Defrel to give the all-clear.
In turn, the Sardinians are ready to send striker Farias to newly-promoted Lecce following his loan spell at Empoli.
