Martin Caceres is undergoing his medicals with Cagliari ahead of a free move to the Sardegna Arena.
Caceres’ contract with Fiorentina expired in June, so the Uruguayan defender can join Cagliari on a free transfer.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the 34-year-old is undergoing his medicals with the Rossoblu and will sign a one-year deal.
Leonardo Semplici’s side are also in talks with Juventus to sign Radu Dragusin on loan with an option to buy.
However, Juventus want to keep control of the Romanian defender, so the deal is not done yet as the Bianconeri want a counter-option to re-sign the player in the future if Cagliari decide to make his move permanent.
