Juventus stopper Martin Caceres says he feared for his hair after being involved in a car crash last month.

The Uruguayan was hurt in a road traffic accident in Turin on his side’s return from their game at Bologna.

“I had a problem with the poor nurse at the hospital,” he told El Observador. “She was cleaning my head injuries and wanted to cut my hair…

“I made it clear that I didn’t want that to happen. For someone who has had long hair all of their life, they can’t have it cut!

“In all seriousness, apart from the blow to my head, I didn’t suffer too many injuries aside from a few bruises here and there.”

The 26-year-old has scored one goal in 14 League appearances for the Old Lady this term.

Caceres hasn’t played in Serie A since the 1-0 loss at Roma in February.
