Cabrini spent 13 years at Juve between 1976 and 1989, winning six Scudetti and one European Cup, while helping Italy to the 1982 World Cup, and the former left-back is eager to see whether Bonucci or Juve got the better end of his transfer to Milan.
“In the next few months, we’ll see whether Bonucci’s move to Milan will have had more repercussions on the player or Juventus,” the Coach of Italy’s women’s national team told Radio 2.
“However, it’s clear that this was a consensual divorce: something between him and the club had probably broken down, and at that point they both decided to take different paths.
“Milan are certainly a good club and their signing of Bonucci can’t be underestimated, but like I said before, obviously there have been problems behind the scenes.
“With so much money in football nowadays, heart takes a backseat. It’s not the case in women’s football because it doesn’t generate such figures.”
