Sinisa Mihajlovic’s Bologna couldn’t match Borussia Dortmund in Austria, when Giovanni Reyna, Lennard Maloney and Steffen Tigges scored in a 3-0 win for the Germans.

The Serbian coach lined up in the usual 4-2-3-1 against Erling Braut Haaland and his teammates in Altach, Austria.

Vignato took over the role of Soriano, who remained in Bologna with a muscle problem. Musa Barrow was also missed for the Rossoblu, as the striker recently was isolated due to COVID-19.

Marko Arnautovic has still not arrived from Shanghai, and Borussia Dortmund took control over the game immediately.

Bologna only managed to keep a clean sheet for 24 minutes, when Giovanni Reyna scored the opener. The Rossoblu tried to respond but made too many errors, as Maloney doubled the lead after 42 minutes, before Tigges added the third right before half-time.

The Rossoblu supporters followed their team to Austria, but didn’t see their team score against Dortmund, as there were no more goals and many changes in the second half.

Next game for Bologna is on August 5 against Liverpool, when they travel to France.
