Sergio Busquets assures Barcelona have made the most of the time since La Liga ended to ‘prepare tactically’ for Napoli and the Champions League.

The first leg ended 1-1 at the Stadio San Paolo back in February and the decider is tomorrow evening at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT).

Although he is suspended along with Arturo Vidal, the midfielder was still chosen to speak at the press conference.

“We feel good and want to give 100 per cent, score goals and take the initiative. If we do that, then it’ll go well,” said Busquets in his press conference.

There has been a great deal of tension in the Blaugrana camp since the end of the Liga season, with Lionel Messi particularly frustrated and reports of coach Quique Setien being replaced.

“Everything we talk about in the dressing room in order to improve is welcome. The last few weeks have been very good, allowing us to train and better plan the game tactically. We really want to continue in this competition and get to the Final Eight, but first there’s Napoli. They have a great coach and won’t make it easy for us.

“As for Setien’s future, that is a decision for the club to make. If Setien continues, that’ll be a positive sign for everyone, but we shouldn’t be worrying about that now. We have to focus on Napoli.

“We’ve been able to train much more and this certainly helped. We might not be in the best shape when it comes to match fitness, but there are many other things we may well have improved and hope they can be of use tomorrow.

“Barcelona intend to be faithful to our style of football and score goals.”

Ousmane Dembele, Samuel Umtiti and Jean-Clair Todibo are injured, Arturo Vidal and Busquets suspended, but Arthur Melo refused to play for Barcelona in the Champions League after signing for Juventus.

“It was a surprise for everyone when Arthur didn’t come back, but only he and the club know the truth. We hope they can reach an agreement and we’ll just concentrate on the match with Napoli,” added Busquets.
