Boca Juniors Coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto confirmed this weekend that the Argentine club had contacted Buffon to discuss a possible transfer.
The idea would be for Buffon to play in the Copa Libertadores with his former Juve teammate Carlos Tevez, as that concludes in November.
However, according to Tuttosport, SuperGigi is ready to reject the move, as he doesn’t want to spend several months in South America when he has a young family at home.
He is likely to become a director, though whether it is at Juventus or with the Italian Football Federation remains to be seen.
