Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is expected to complete his move to Paris Saint-Germain this week.

The 40-year-old is out of contract on June 30, and had been expected to hang up his gloves at the end of the season.

However, at a Press conference last month he merely confirmed his departure from the Bianconeri, and pointedly did not say he was retiring.

PSG were immediately linked with a move, and now calciomercato.com is reporting that a deal is done between Buffon and the French champions.

An announcement is expected on Tuesday or Wednesday, after UEFA have passed down their judgement on PSG’s alleged breaches of Financial Fair Play.

Buffon has agreed a two-year contract worth €7m per season plus bonuses, with the condition that he’ll have an ambassadorial role for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
