In fact, Buffon has demanded a meeting with FIGC chiefs to discuss the long-term plans and his position inside the project.

Luciano Spalletti named Buffon as Italy’s delegation chief in September 2023.

According to the reports, Buffon wants to ensure there are conditions to continue the project after such a disappointing elimination from the European Championship.

As per Tuttosport, Spalletti may also be involved in talks with the 2006 World Cup winner.

Neither FIGC President Gabriele Gravina nor coach Spalletti resigned after Italy’s exit from EURO 2024, but Gravina announced a Federation election for November 4, 2024.

  1. He’s ashamed of the performances absolutely disgusting. That spaletti and GRAVINA not resigned tell u Italy fans if they keep them there winning nothing pair of clowns 🤡🤡 especially spaletti arrogant man

  2. The desire to fight back dies with stupid 2nd goal. What a weak group! Fagioli should never be called. Dropping wingers like Politano, Gnonto is baffling.

  3. Blaming Fagioli for costing Italy a goal when it’s his first game is a bit rich. DiMarco did something far worse with his foolish throw in that cost a goal after 24 seconds so should he also be banished from the national team given he is far more experienced than Fagioli? Technical players like Fagioli are required for the rebuild because there isn’t much quality to choose from.

  4. Have faith. You seem to always knock the nationale when well they are down. Instead you should let the review take place patiently and systematically
